The Story Of An Unknown Girl...

I know this girl... She was raised in a state where she was not excepted. This girl grew up in Arizona where many of her ideas, thoughts, hopes, were crumpled like a piece of trash and thrown into the fire of crushed dreams. Her voice was destroyed. Two years ago she and her family decided to leave their Egypt behind and start a new life with out looking back.
They arrived in BEAUTIFUL San Diego where they experienced hell. They were homeless for a period of time and were put through a series of trials. And that is when they All bloomed!

Especially this girl!

This was when she found herself in the ashes of her dreams. She began to shine, and her voice had finally boomed and it was taking her places that she had never dreamed of. She wrote song's, song's that told her stories, song's that explained her feelings. The more she would sing them, the more doors she saw open up. She was taken to may places to sing her story...She remembers her first story telling.

She was dressed in a beautiful black dress standing next to her amazing sister, friend and teacher. When she opened her mouth she let go of all the dreams that she let die, she began to speak into existence her newly found desire to sing!

She was finding her way through the the path that she had come across and she was accomplishing all of the goals and dreams she set for her self.

She was showing the people that lit the fire to her crushed and burned dreams that she would no longer let them have authority over her. She was looking towards the future and she would no longer except her past! She started college early, graduated high school, and started summer college classes only two days after her high school graduation.

This girl has a name: Cindy Valenzuela

This girl is ME!

  1. Powerful story, Ms. Cynthia. You use words to construct a strong persona - a jewel in the desert who "works it" despite the forces that work against you achieving your potential. Yes, Ms. Girl!
